Terms of Use

APiLOG is intended for beekeepers aged 16 years and older. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

APiLOG is a beehive management tool that helps beekeepers track hive health, inspections, treatments, and queen lineage. Features include:

• Hive and inspection logs
• Treatment tracking
• Harvest tracking
• Queen lineage management
• Optional voice transcription and assistance (via OpenAI)
• QR code generation for direct hive access
• Task list calendar
• Data storage on secure Neon Servers

Users may manage two hives for free. Additional hives require a subscription. Payments and cancellations are managed through Stripe. Refunds are subject to Stripe's policy and are not guaranteed after use of service.

Collected: Name, email, optional hive location, and app usage (via Google Analytics). Optional transcription notes and assistant conversations are processed by OpenAI.

Ownership: You own your hive data. It is never sold and can be exported at any time.

Retention: Data is stored indefinitely unless you request deletion. Data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe – for payments and billing
• Google Analytics – for usage tracking
• OpenAI – for audio transcription (if enabled)

QR codes link directly to hive information for authenticated users only. Hive data remains private, only the Hive ID is encoded in the QR.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, while remaining easy for you to access, but no service is 100% secure. We do not store finacial information. Use at your own risk.

We strive to maintain a stable service, but APiLOG is provided "as is" without any warranty. We do not guarantee uptime, error-free operation, all features, or compatibility with all devices.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APILOG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE INCLUDING AI & HUMAN ADVICE OR DATA LOSS OR SERVICE INTERUPTIONS.

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for violations of these terms.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Canada.

We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
